2. How We Use Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
• To process and edit video submissions into finished videos for you.
• To generate transcripts, captions, and suggested questions using automated and AI-assisted tools.
• To communicate with you about your account, respond to inquiries, and send service-related notices.
• To maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Video Content and Consent

The Service is designed to collect video from people you invite. If you request a recording from someone, you are responsible for ensuring they understand the recording is being collected and consent to its creation and intended use.

People who record videos do so voluntarily and may decline to participate. We process their content only to provide the Service to the requesting account.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the Service:

• Service providers who help us run the Service, including hosting (Vercel), database and file storage (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), and AI-assisted transcription and captioning (OpenAI).
• With your direction — for example, finished videos you choose to publish or share.
• For legal reasons, such as to comply with applicable law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, safety, and property of MySocialProof and others.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated content at any time, and we will delete it except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls and encrypted storage for uploaded media. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices and Rights

8. Children
